Brother Exhumations
Complicated History involving being one of the Mountainfolk. At age twelve, Brother Hezekiah Wathcdown slaughtered his family, but spared the child when the child quoted several stories from the Book of Life. The child was taken in and given the proper name Exhumations (as opposed to the heathen name he had had since birth) and raised by the church. Hezekiah encouraged Exhumations to become a Dog, and gave him his Book and the remains of his Coat.
